Angus & Julia Stone are a brother and sister duo whose music is perfect relaxing music for me. "Mango Tree" mainly features Angus's vocals and I tend to prefer his more. They're very soothing and calming. The simple guitar melody is beautiful when it switches into the bridge of the song and the lyrics are short, yet touching.

I absolutely love sweet, acoustic tracks like this. I could listen to it forever! It's a beautiful and tug-at-your-heartstrings ballad with soft vocals and gentle guitar plucking. The lyrics are so bittersweet as well. It brings out the sappy girl in me.

So, you need a little something to remind you that it doesn't last and things will get better, so just let it go.

Since I've been cooped up inside with a terrible migraine for the entire day, today's song is another one of those folksy, soothing tracks I love so much. Patrick's vocals are soft, breathy, and blend with the wispy female vocals of guest Katie Moore. These are backed up with a pleasing mix of soft banjos/guitars, crisp xylophone notes, wavering pianos, and dreamy "ba ba ba"s from the backup vocals. (Sounds like an odd combination doesn't it?)

I seem to fall in love with every song by The Weepies that I come across. Currently, my favorite is a track by the name "World Spins Madly On". The guitar and vocals are soothing, comforting, and seem to just massage my worries away. I love the harmonies the duo creates together. All of their music is very simple, allowing you to really focus on the lyrics.

And speaking of the lyrics for this song, there many interpretations of what this song means. It means something different to everyone who listens to it, but whatever the meaning, it always touches you in some way. Also, I found a beautiful animation on YouTube for this song and I have it linked below. It too has many different interpretations, just like the song. Be sure to watch it!
