Giraffegy is a music blog for people who don't want to mess with music blogs.

It's meant to be simple.

A song a day. 

No long review.

Easy access to the music, videos, lyrics, and band info.

That's it. 

But...if you want to know more about how I run the blog, then keep reading!

I started this blog because I have a large and eclectic music collection that I'm always dying to share with people. I love music with a passion and I want to share that love with other people. What better way to do that than through a blog? So, what I do is pick songs from my music collection and post one each day (or as best I can). Some are new and some are old. I try to vary the genre so people can hopefully find something to fit their tastes. 

I'm not offering downloads.

That's not what I do here.

I'm just trying to introduce people to new music.
If someone finds a new favorite, I will be a happy duck.

That being said...

Trying to play the music?

Well, for legal reasons, most of the songs posted on my blog are played through Spotify. You need to have Spotify downloaded to be able to play it directly from the post. 

If you don't have Spotify and don't want to download it, you can play (most) of the songs through the exfm player in the bottom right corner of my page. Click on the playlist button and select the song you want to listen to. These songs are pulled from Soundcloud, Tumblr, Bandcamp, etc. It the song doesn't play, that means the original link was taken down. Also, please note that this player currently pulls the most recent 50 songs I've posted, not all of them. The exfm team is worked on adding features so that it will play through all of them.
